The University of Washington is one of the oldest state-supported institutions of higher education on the West Coast, founded in 1861, with over 31,000 undergraduate students. You can experience a semester abroad at a US university with little financial impact and become part of an <a href=\"https:\/\/jsis.washington.edu\/canada\/funding\/corbett-program\/\">elite group of scholars<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Value<\/strong>:\u00a0The value of this award is dependent on the length of your Exchange program at the University of Washington<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>$4,000 (USD) for a Term 1 Exchange: September 2024-December 2024<\/li>\n<li>$8,000 (USD) for a Term 2 Exchange: January 2025-June 2025<\/li>\n<li>$12,000 (USD) for a Full Year Exchange: September 2024-June 2025<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Eligibility<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This program is open to both Undergraduate and Graduate students<\/li>\n<li>You must hold Canadian citizenship or P.R.<\/li>\n<li>Students from all Faculties and disciplines are welcome to apply-click to view <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washington.edu\/students\/crscat\/\">University of Washington Seattle\u2019s Course Offerings<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Priority will be given to students who have attended high school in British Columbia<\/li>\n<li>Priority will be given to students who wish to participate in longer Exchange programs <strong>(Full Year or Term 2)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>To apply for the award:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Check the complete\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/global.ubc.ca\/go-global\/programs-ubc-students\/exchange\/eligibility\">eligibility requirements\u00a0<\/a>for exchange<\/li>\n<li>Log on to\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/ubc-horizons.symplicity.com\/student\">Gateway<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Click on the \u201cSearch Experiences\u201d tab.<\/li>\n<li>Search \u201cCorbett\u201d in the \u201cKeywords\u201d section. This will bring up the application in our Gateway system.
