We are pleased to announce the 1st Annual Global Academy of Agriculture and Food Systems Symposium<\/a><\/u>,\u00a0scheduled for Friday, 15th March at the Roslin Institute. This year, our theme\u00a0is ‘Supporting Food Systems Transformation with Data<\/strong>.<\/strong>‘<\/p>\n

Prof Jess Fanzo<\/a>,<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0Professor of Climate and Director of the Food for Humanity Initiative at Columbia University\u00a0will present The Food Systems Countdown Initiative<\/a>\u00a0and Dr Mike Clark<\/a>,<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0Senior Researcher at Oxford, will present on data on the environmental impact of foods<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The event will run\u00a0from 10 am to 4 pm, followed by a drinks reception. Lunch will be provided.<\/p>\n

PhD students and postdocs\u00a0are invited to submit a 250-word abstract for a poster session. Presenting authors\u00a0of selected abstracts will receive\u00a0free registration.<\/p>\n
