Researchers occasionally need high-quality historical climate data for locations not found near an official WMO weather station. One solution to this problem is to generate computer simulated climate data from actual measurements using downscaling techniques.<\/p>\n

Developed through research led by\u00a0 UBC\u2019s Dr. Tongli Wang<\/a> and others, ClimateNA<\/a> is a tool that allows you to do just that.\u00a0 In this workshop, researcher Dr. Micheal Pidwirny<\/a> will share how he has used ClimateNA<\/a> as a tool in his own research of climate impacts at ski resorts in North America.<\/p>\n

Whether you are a researcher, student, or staff member, this workshop will offer a dynamic learning experience designed to help you understand how to integrate knowledge exchange into your work.<\/p>\n
