Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarships<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarships (CGS) program is designed to attract and retain world-class doctoral students by supporting students who demonstrate both leadership skills and a high standard of scholarly achievement in graduate studies in the social sciences and humanities, natural sciences and engineering, and health-related fields. Canadian citizens, permanent residents of Canada,\u00a0and international students are eligible to be nominated for a Vanier Scholarship, which is valued at $50,000 per year for up to three years.<\/p>\n

The application is completed online on ResearchNet<\/u>:\u00a0<\/strong>https:\/\/www.researchnet-recherchenet.ca\/rnr16\/LoginServlet<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

UBC Vanier application deadline:\u00a012 noon (PT – Vancouver time) on Thursday, August 29 2024<\/strong>
\nGraduate program nomination deadline:\u00a04:00 pm PT\u00a0on Tuesday, September 17 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n

Note: Per changes to Tri-Agency award values announced in June 2024, the Vanier CGS program is expected to continue under its current parameters of $50,000 per year for this competition year. Further information on the future of the program will be shared as it becomes available.<\/p>\n
