Reminder: August and\/or November graduation <\/strong><\/p>\n

As a reminder, as a one-time response to Workday Student implementation<\/u><\/strong>, November 2024 graduation provides students with two opportunities to have their degrees granted (conferred) by Senate \u2013 one in August and the other in November<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Note that G+PS is not able to provide exceptions for late applications or approvals to the August deadlines<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

There are two pathways to take for November graduation ceremonies; one pathway where degrees are granted in August<\/strong> and the second where degrees are granted in November.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Please apply for Graduation on SSC by July 31, 2024<\/u> even if unsure about making the July 31 deadline, but will be complete in time for November graduation.<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you have applied for the August conferral<\/strong> but do not meet the deadline, you do not need to re-apply. <\/strong>The application will be \u201crolled over\u201d and they will be assessed in the final November application period.<\/p>\n

Students who expect to complete their program for the November conferral<\/strong> should also apply in SSC by Jul 31, 2024<\/strong> to simplify the process. Their application will be moved to the final November application period.<\/p>\n

August graduation<\/strong>: mostly applies to the research students: MSc and PhD.<\/strong><\/p>\n

July 31 \u2013 4pm<\/strong> \u2013 the deadline for thesis\/dissertation acceptance to have the degree granted in August.<\/p>\n
