They support livelihoods in diverse ways but face challenges from land-use changes and economic pressures. Art can bridge diverse perspectives, promote shared-understanding, and contribute to community cohesion. This course explores the role of art and cultural processes in the forest and land stewardship, focusing on the challenges in tropical and sub-tropical regions while including examples from British Columbia.
