{"id":3301,"date":"2017-03-23T08:52:23","date_gmt":"2017-03-23T15:52:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/lfsgrads\/?p=3301"},"modified":"2017-03-23T08:52:23","modified_gmt":"2017-03-23T15:52:23","slug":"call-for-abstracts-8th-international-agriculture-symposium-agrosym-2017","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/lfsgrads\/post-3301","title":{"rendered":"Call for Abstracts: 8th International Agriculture Symposium \u201cAGROSYM 2017\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/lfsgrads\/files\/2017\/03\/First_Announcement_2017.pdf\">First_Announcement_2017<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Call for Abstracts: 8<sup>th<\/sup> International Agriculture Symposium \u201cAGROSYM 2017\u201d \u2013 Deadline: April 20<sup>th<\/sup>, 2017 Jahorina, 5-8 October 2017, Bosnia and Herzegovina<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The University of East Sarajevo, Faculty of Agriculture (Bosnia and Herzegovina), University of Belgrade, Faculty of Agriculture (Serbia) and CIHEAM-Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Bari (CIHEAM-IAMB, Italy), in collaboration with21 Research and Academia Institutions organizethe 8<sup>th<\/sup>International Agriculture Symposium\u201cAGROSYM 2017\u201d, that will be held in Jahorina mountain(near Sarajevo)<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>aton <strong>5-8 October 2017.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Agrosym 2017<\/strong> will deal with seven thematic areas: <strong>(1)Plant Production (2) Plant Protection and Food Safety (3) Organic Agriculture (4) Environmental Protection and Natural Resources Management (5) Animal Husbandry (6) Rural Development and Agro-Economy (7) Forestry and Agro-Forestry.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The 8<sup>th<\/sup>edition of the Symposium will take place in the magnificent <a href=\"http:\/\/termaghotel.com\/en\/\">Termag Hotel<\/a>, situated in Jahorinamountain, near Sarajevo. In 2016, during the four-day of 7<sup>th<\/sup> Agrosym edition (6-9 October 2016), we welcomed people from <strong>78 countries<\/strong> to the event, and over <strong>1100 papers<\/strong> were presented to more than <strong>1000 participants<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>You are kindly invited to participate and take advantage of the opportunity to present your unpublished scientific papers. The official Symposium language is English. The deadline for Registration and Abstract submission is<strong> 20 April 2017.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Scientific Committee of AGROSYM 2017 will provide the <strong>Award of ExcellentPaper<\/strong> for oral presentations and <strong>Award of Excellent Poster<\/strong> for poster presentations.
