Vancouver Community\u00a0Science Celebration 2017<\/strong> Are you looking to start off your year with a fun and exciting volunteering opportunity! We have just the event for you! UBC Let’s Talk Science and Genome BC are recruiting volunteers to help run two booths at this year\u2019s annual Vancouver\u00a0Community Science Celebration on\u00a0September 16th and 17th! You can help children explore the magic (*Ahem* science) of DNA by making DNA Bracelets or Edible DNA and extracting DNA from kiwi fruit at the Genome BC booth or joining the LTS team in making Slime, exploring salmon migration, or running Chromatography Demos.<\/p>\n This event brings lots of families to Science World for a busy, fun and exciting two days, but we\u2019ll need need many volunteers to make this event a success!
