Then,\u00a0Dawn\u00a0Hoogeveen, a postdoc at the Institute for Resources, Environment and Sustainability, will share her experiences using DRM in her research in a Q&amp;A session. The event will close with\u00a0Dawn Morrison,\u00a0Founder, Chair and Coordinator of the B.C. Food Systems Working Group on Indigenous Food Sovereignty, sharing her experience straddling between the worlds of community organizing and academia and offering insights for engaging in this work.<\/p>\n<p>You can also expect some delicious refreshments from Doughgirls.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Please RSVP<\/strong>\u00a0to\u00a0amber.heckelman@gmail.com.
