The first of four doctoral examination deadlines for students looking to graduate in Spring 2018 is approaching. If there are students in your program who are aiming to complete their programs this spring then we ask that you make them aware of these upcoming deadlines:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>Friday, December 1, 2017<\/span><\/b> \u2013 Nominations for External Examiner form submitted to Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>Friday, January 26, 2018<\/span><\/b> \u2013 Doctoral dissertation and supporting documentation submitted to Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies for external examination.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>Friday, March 23, 2018<\/span><\/b> \u2013 Last day for final doctoral oral examinations.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>Friday, April 20, 2018<\/span><\/b> \u2013 Acceptance of final, approved doctoral dissertation by Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Students who are hoping to graduate in the spring but are concerned about their ability to meet any of the above deadlines should contact the Doctoral Exams team as soon as possible at graduate.doctoral@ubc.ca<\/a>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
