In addition, graduate students in STEM departments are eligible to become\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/cirtl.ubc.ca\/get-involved\/for-grad-students-and-post-grads\/\">CIRTL associates<\/a>\u00a0upon completion of the workshop. \u00a0 The ISW is a 3-day intensive workshop that develops\u00a0participant&#8217;s teaching skills and confidence.\u00a0\u00a0It is appropriate\u00a0for first time teachers or those with years of experience.\u00a0\u00a0Join\u00a0the thousands of students who have taken this workshop.<\/p>\n<p>IMPORTANT:\u00a0The workshop runs from 8:15am-5:00pm. Please note you must be able to attend all three days, i.e. the entire 24-hour workshop.\u00a0\u00a0Please find attached the policy for registering in an ISW and an FAQ sheet.<\/p>\n<p>This workshop is always in high demand.
