Join us for presentations as well as discussion on issues that concern us all. This meeting is open to students, researchers, educators, businesses and others involved with marine mammals. Anyone in one or more of these categories is welcome to attend.<\/b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n
Please register on\u00a0Eventbrite<\/a>\u00a0or email bc.symposium@oceans.ubc.ca<\/a> before\u00a0November 17, 2017,<\/i>\u00a0<\/b>to indicate that you plan to attend. Lunch and refreshments will be provided, but we need to know how many people to plan for.\u00a0 There will also be a social evening (6:00-9:00 pm) where beer and pizza can be purchased.<\/p>\n The Agenda will be distributed at the meeting.<\/p>\n Please email bc.symposium@oceans.ubc.ca<\/a>before\u00a0November 17, 2017<\/b><\/i> if you would like to make a\u00a0five-minute<\/b>\u00a0presentation about your research. Longer presentations on topics of general interest are welcomed.\u00a0 We would also like to know if there are any issues that should be discussed by the group at large.<\/p>\n This year we are planning to stream live to the general public via YouTube.\u00a0 All presentations will be recorded for posting on the internet.
