Applicants can apply to <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mitacs.ca\/en\/programs\/canadian-science-policy-fellowship\/projects-2018-19-canadian-science-policy-fellowship?utm_source=call&amp;utm_medium=email&amp;utm_campaign=CSPFCall-Jan42018-IT\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span lang=\"EN-CA\" style=\"margin: 0px; color: #00b0f0; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">up to six approved projects<\/span><\/a><span lang=\"EN-CA\" style=\"margin: 0px; color: #333333; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\"> in their area(s) of interest.<\/p>\n<p>Eligible applicants must be: <\/span><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li style=\"margin: 0px; color: #333333; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal;\"><span lang=\"EN-CA\" style=\"margin: 0px; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">Faculty members at Canadian universities or PhD graduates<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 0px; color: #333333; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal;\"><span lang=\"EN-CA\" style=\"margin: 0px; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">Canadian citizens or permanent residents (applicants are responsible for confirming their eligibility for individual projects)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 0px; color: #333333; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal;\"><span lang=\"EN-CA\" style=\"margin: 0px; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">Able to negotiate a leave of absence from their university or employer, as applicable<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-CA\" style=\"margin: 0px; color: #333333; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">The 2018 cohort of fellowships will begin in September 2018.
