Douglas McRorie Memorial <\/span><\/b>Scholarship<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

for graduate students specializing in agricultural business, economics, finance or trade<\/span><\/i><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Canadian Foundation for Food and Agricultural Education* invites applications for The Douglas McRorie Memorial Scholarship.<\/b><\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The scholarship was named in recognition of the significant contribution Douglas McRorie, PAg, FAIC, made to agricultural finance throughout his career with the Royal Bank of Canada, his involvement in agricultural banking and agricultural economics, and his belief in continuous training.\u00a0 The scholarship is made available through the support of the RBC Foundation.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Douglas McRorie Memorial Scholarship will provide financial support to Masters or PhD students specializing in agricultural business, economics, finance or trade. <\/span><\/p>\n

Two scholarships will be offered in 2018:\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

$3,000 Masters level<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

$5,000 PhD level<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Scholarships are awarded on the following criteria:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

s\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>Agricultural post-graduate student<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

s\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>Emphasis in research related to agricultural business\/commerce\/economics\/trade<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

s\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>Academic record<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

s\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>Leadership and community service<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

s\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>Work experience and career interests<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

s\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>Letters of recommendation<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
