Public Scholarship Initiative Information Session \u2013 March 2nd<\/sup>, 12:00 – 2:00, Thea\u2019s Lounge<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Dear Students, <\/span><\/p>\n

UBC’s\u00a0<\/span>Public Scholars Initiative<\/span><\/a>\u00a0will soon start accepting applications for its fourth year. A groundbreaking, award-winning scholarship program, PSI currently has <\/span>115 scholars<\/span><\/a>\u00a0from almost all faculties across UBC. Public Scholars\u00a0enjoy (1) continuous academic support; (2) up to $20,000 financial support over 2 years and; (3) numerous professional development and networking opportunities.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

If your work involves\u00a0innovative forms of scholarship;\u00a0<\/span><\/em>engaging communities and other partners for a\u00a0tangible positive social impact<\/span><\/em>; or more\u00a0career-relevant forms of scholarship<\/span><\/em>, you may also become a UBC Public Scholar.\u00a0We would like to invite students, faculty, and staff to join us for the PSI information session\u00a0to learn more about the initiative, funding criteria and the application process.\u00a0The session will be on the 2nd of March, from 12:00 to 2:00\u00a0at Thea\u2019s Lounge<\/u><\/i> in the Graduate Student Building. Please RSVP <\/span>here<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The 2018-19 applications for PSI will run from\u00a0March 19\u00a0to May 25, 2018<\/span><\/u><\/em>. We strongly encourage all students who plan on applying to attend the information session. More information about the initiative, scholarship holders,\u00a0and the 2018\u00a0competition can be found on\u00a0the PSI Website. <\/span><\/p>\n
