I am happy to share that Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development Canada (DFATD), through Global Affairs Canada and CBIE, is seeking applications for the scholarships outlined below. These awards are available to international graduate and undergraduate students, to conduct research and study at UBC on both campuses, within the framework of existing agreements between UBC and their home institutions. I encourage you to share widely among your Faculties and colleagues, as they may be contacted by international students seeking to apply for this scholarship and undertake research within their particular field.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Please note the introduction of the Canada-ASEAN Scholarship this year. <\/b>This is a new scholarship for citizens of an ASEAN member state (Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos (Lao People\u2019s Democratic Republic (Lao PDR)), Malaysia, Myanmar, The Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, or Vietnam). This scholarship is for students who choose a field of study or research that is aligned with, and contribute to, the implementation of the <\/span><\/span>2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development<\/span><\/a><\/span>.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
