{"id":4328,"date":"2018-03-27T12:09:52","date_gmt":"2018-03-27T19:09:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/lfsgrads\/?p=4328"},"modified":"2018-03-27T12:09:52","modified_gmt":"2018-03-27T19:09:52","slug":"reminder-call-for-abstracts-9th-international-agriculture-symposium-agrosym-2018","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/lfsgrads\/post-4328","title":{"rendered":"REMINDER: Call for Abstracts: 9th International Agriculture Symposium \u201cAGROSYM 2018\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Call for Abstracts: 9<sup>th<\/sup> International Agriculture Symposium \u201cAGROSYM 2018\u201d \u2013 Deadline: April 20<sup>th<\/sup>, 2018<br \/>\nJahorina, 4-7 October 2018, Bosnia and Herzegovina<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The University of East Sarajevo, Faculty of Agriculture (Bosnia and Herzegovina), University of Belgrade, Faculty of Agriculture (Serbia) and CIHEAM-Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Bari (CIHEAM-IAMB, Italy), in collaboration with 25 Research and Academia Institutions organize the 9<sup>th <\/sup>International Agriculture Symposium \u201cAGROSYM 2018\u201d, that will be held in Jahorina mountain (near Sarajevo)<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>aton <strong>4-7 October 2018.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Agrosym 2018<\/strong> will deal with seven thematic areas: <strong>(1) Plant Production (2) Plant Protection and Food Safety (3) Organic Agriculture (4) Environmental Protection and Natural Resources Management (5) Animal Husbandry (6) Rural Development and Agro-Economy (7) Forestry and Agro-Forestry.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The 9<sup>th<\/sup>edition of the Symposium will take place in the magnificent <a href=\"http:\/\/termaghotel.com\/en\/\">Termag Hotel<\/a>, situated in Jahorina mountain, near Sarajevo.<\/p>\n<p>In 2017, during the four-day of 8<sup>th<\/sup> Agrosym edition (5-8 October 2017), we welcomed people from <strong>85 countries<\/strong> to the event, and over <strong>1300 papers<\/strong> were presented to more than <strong>1200 participants<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>You are kindly invited to participate and take advantage of the opportunity to present your unpublished scientific papers. The official Symposium language is English. The deadline for Registration and Abstract submission is<strong> 20 April 2018.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Scientific Committee of AGROSYM 2018 will provide the <strong>Award of Excellent Paper<\/strong> for oral presentations and <strong>Award of Excellent Poster<\/strong> for poster presentations.
