We are partnering with Service Canada to offer exclusive appointments on-campus and at the West Broadway location to new international students<\/i> to obtain a Social Insurance Number in time for the start of Winter term.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Appointments will be offered starting Monday, August 27th<\/sup>. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Does your TA position begin soon or do you want to work in Canada? You need to get a Social Insurance Number (SIN) from Service Canada before you can start working. \u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Service Canada will issue SINs on-campus and after-hours via in-person appointments at their office exclusively for UBC students starting next Monday, August 27th<\/sup><\/b>. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We strongly encourage you to reserve the first available time slot<\/b> after arrival in Vancouver, particularly if you need to work at the start of term. \u00a0Appointments are limited and based on a first-come first-served basis.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
