Head of Laboratory Needed<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Head of Laboratory is needed for a new analytical company based in Vancouver, BC.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

This is a unique opportunity to grow with our company as we emerge from a new and exciting<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

industry in Canada.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Head of Laboratory will be responsible for running, troubleshooting and analyzing samples<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

with a GC, HPLC and\/or ICP system; writing and reviewing standard operating procedures<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

(SOPs); and performing laboratory procedures including sampling, chromatographic and<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

material assays.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Qualifications:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u0095 Master\u2019s or PhD in Plant Science, Analytical Chemistry or a related field.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u0095 Experience with creating statistical methods of data analysis.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u0095 Experience with the following instrumentation: HPLC, GCMS, LC-MS\/MS, GC-MS\/MS,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

ICPMS.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u0095 Experience with method development and optimization.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u0095 Experience with instrument maintenance and trouble-shooting.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
