Then sign up for science fair mentorship! The science fair mentorship program increases student confidence with and understanding of the scientific method and scientific communication by pairing small groups of grade 8-10 students with Let&#8217;s Talk Science volunteer mentors. These mentors work with students through the entire process of designing, running, and analyzing a scientific experiment for a science fair project. You will be paired with one teacher from any grade level (K-12) you are comfortable with and together you will discuss the lesson that you wish to present to the students.\u00a0The total time commitment is\u00a0 approximately 10 to 20 hours over the school year.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"margin: 0px; color: black; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><span style=\"margin: 0px; color: black; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">Interested? As with individual teacher partnerships, the expectation is that your group will make 3 separate visits to the school. We can reimburse you for mileage and lunch!
