These internships prepare UBC students professionally and academically for future careers through a mentored learning experience with a real food business or organization. These internships are managed by the Centre for Sustainable Food Systems(CSFS) at the UBC Farm.<\/p>\n<p>As well as education and communications postings with the CSFS at UBC Farm, we have an array of opportunities with impact food and farming businesses, such as <strong>Fresh Roots<\/strong>, <strong>Lita\u2019s Mexican Foods<\/strong>, the <strong>Small-Scale Meat Producers Association<\/strong>, <strong>Solecito<\/strong>, and <strong>Tayybeh<\/strong>, as well as a position supporting the local food system with <strong>Vancity<\/strong>. We even have an Insect Food Production Internship with <strong>Bite Snacks<\/strong>!<\/p>\n<p>Students: apply the theory you gain from class through on-the-ground food system-related work and through reflections and course assignments that support your practical learning.
