{"id":5608,"date":"2019-08-28T12:13:15","date_gmt":"2019-08-28T19:13:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/lfsgrads\/?p=5608"},"modified":"2019-08-28T12:13:15","modified_gmt":"2019-08-28T19:13:15","slug":"november-2019-graduation-deadlines","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/lfsgrads\/post-5608","title":{"rendered":"November 2019 Graduation Deadlines"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><em><u>PLEASE NOTE \u2013This email is for grad students graduating in November 2019.<\/u><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Can you please remind all Graduate Students that are hoping to have their degree granted in November, with the option to attend the November congregation ceremony, that the application for graduation will be available on the Student Service Centre until <strong><u>Sunday, September 15, 2019.<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A late application form for graduation will be available on our website after September 15, 2019 for students that have missed the Student Service Centre deadline.\u00a0 Please note that this form is for Graduate Students only.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.grad.ubc.ca\/forms\">https:\/\/www.grad.ubc.ca\/forms<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Please advise students that are hoping to graduate in November 2019, that <strong><u>it is very important that they apply for graduation as soon as possible<\/u><\/strong>, and should not wait until they submit their final thesis to G+PS or complete the program requirements for non-thesis programs.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Sunday, September 15, 2019<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Last day for graduation applications to be submitted to Enrolment Services using the Student Service Centre by all students expecting to graduate in November 2019.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Friday, October 18, 2019<\/u><\/strong><strong><u><br \/>\n<\/u><\/strong><strong><br \/>\nLast day for late applications for graduation to be submitted to Enrolment Services by all students expecting to graduate in November 2019. \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Last day for final master&#8217;s theses and doctoral dissertations to be approved by the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies for November 2019 degree granting and Congregation.
