UBC Climate Hub <\/a>(a project supported by the UBC Sustainability Initiative), comprised of student groups that work to address issues around climate change and climate justice.<\/p>\n

The Climate Hub is hosting a day-long \u2018Climate Solutions Showcase\u2019 in the AMS Nest on Thursday September 26th, 2019 (Eventbrite link <\/strong>here <\/strong><\/a>and Facebook link<\/strong> here<\/strong><\/a>)<\/strong>. The aim of this Showcase is to feature UBC students, researchers and staff, and external partners like you and the LFS Undergraduate Society, who are working on climate solutions to present their climate-related research and projects to new audiences, brainstorm opportunities for knowledge mobilization, and establish connections and opportunities for collaboration. Given the urgency of climate action in the context of the upcoming elections, the theme of the Showcase will be \u201cClimate Solutions and Civic Engagement\u201d. More information about the event is on the Eventbrite and Facebook pages.<\/p>\n
