This week’s guest for the MFRE Speaker Series is Dr. Seyed H. Hosseini from the University of Saskatchewan.<\/p>\n
While some studies indicate sub-optimal diet quality is a leading factor of death, and suggest that consumption of nutrient-dense food is higher with higher income. Other studies suggest that higher income slightly affects demand for nutritious food.<\/p>\n
In this talk, Dr. Hosseini will present evidence related to the impact of different socioeconomic factors on the production of diet quality in Canada, with a special focus on the role of income among Canadians and immigrants.<\/p>\n
