These sessions are particularly helpful for your newly admitted international students starting their programs in January but all are welcomed. This session will be offered twice:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monday, November 25, 2019, 9am \u2013 10:15am <a href=\"http:\/\/orientation.grad.ubc.ca\/events\/pre-arrival-info-session-for-international-students-3\/\">REGISTER<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Thursday, December 5, 2019, 3pm \u2013 4:15pm <a href=\"http:\/\/orientation.grad.ubc.ca\/events\/pre-arrival-info-session-for-international-students-4\/\">REGISTER<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>International Student Advisors will cover topics such as key immigration documents (passports, study permits, TRVs\/eTAs) work authorization for international students, and health insurance (iMED, MSP, extended health).<\/p>\n<p><strong>GSS social events<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The GSS is hosting a variety of events including MOA tours, a pancake breakfast, and a speed friending social.
