Aboriginal Graduate Fellowship Bridge Funding<\/b>
\n<\/b>
\n<\/b><\/div>\n
The Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies will match funds provided by graduate programs (to a maximum of $8,000 per student and to a maximum of $50,000 for the program in total) to support Master\u2019s and doctoral Indigenous students registered at the UBC-Vancouver campus for the 2020\/21\u00a0academic year (i.e., from 1 September 2020 to 31 August 2021). <\/u><\/b><\/p>\n

This funding is intended to support students until they can apply for the next regular Aboriginal Graduate Fellowship competition<\/u><\/b>. It is also intended to support students who were not successful in receiving other funding, such as Tri-Agency CGS-Master’s, CIHR\/NSERC\/SSHRC doctoral awards, or UBC Affiliated Fellowships, etc., for the 2020\/21\u00a0academic year.<\/p>\n

Students who already hold significant funding ($16,000\/year or greater) will not be considered for AGF Bridge funding.\u00a0 Award winners are selected on the basis of academic merit through a competition administered by the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.<\/p><\/div>\n
