From\u00a0<strong>December 14-17, 2020<\/strong>, UBC faculty, staff, postdocs and graduate students are invited to a week of\u00a0complimentary online professional development workshops during the mid-academic year to reflect on the\u00a0impact their teaching, learning, and technological practices have on online student learning and experiences. The theme of the 2020 Winter Institute is, <strong>Sustainable, Inclusive &amp; Thriving Online Teaching and Learning Communities<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>For the first time, the Institute will also feature a multi-day program. <a href=\"mailto:https:\/\/events.ctlt.ubc.ca\/events\/transitioning-to-online-teaching-a-blended-approach-december-14-18\/\"><em>Transitioning to Online Teaching: A Blended Approach<\/em><\/a> is designed to explore different approaches to online teaching, and blend synchronous and asynchronous online components.
