This is a flexible deadline, and there\u00a0is still time for students to submit those forms.\u00a0They should come in by the end of next week\u00a0to reduce the likelihood of a delay in the invitation process.<\/p>\n<p>As a reminder, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grad.ubc.ca\/current-students\/final-doctoral-exam\/doctoral-deadlines\">other dates<\/a> candidates need to meet are as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>FRIDAY, 29\u00a0JANUARY\u00a02020 \u2013 Doctoral dissertation (and supporting documentation) submitted to Graduate\u00a0and Postdoctoral Studies for external examination<\/li>\n<li>FRIDAY,\u00a026 MARCH\u00a02021 \u2013 Last Day for Final Doctoral Oral Examination<\/li>\n<li>FRIDAY, 23 APRIL\u00a02021 \u2013 Acceptance of final, approved doctoral dissertation by Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We will\u00a0also have an information session about the Virtual Defence process on January 19.
