The TA will assist primarily with logistical communication (with community members and students) related to course assignments and events, organizing breakout rooms and moderating the Zoom chat during class (<strong>Wednesdays 1-3:50pm<\/strong>), and other similar tasks as required. No marking is required in this role, although familiarity with Canvas is helpful.<\/p>\n<p>Estimated 5-10 hours of work per week including class time\u00a0(at the higher end in the start of the semester with less time per week after Reading Week), for a total of 100 hours.<\/p>\n<p>Eligibility\/Qualifications:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be available Wednesday afternoons 12:45-4pm<\/li>\n<li>Effective &amp; professional written and oral communication<\/li>\n<li>Experience with Canvas and Zoom features<\/li>\n<li>Experience with dietitians\/dietetics, healthcare work environments, and\/or reflexive professional practice\u00a0preferred, but not required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please email the course instructor Anna Brisco at\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:anna.brisco@ubc.ca\">anna.brisco@ubc.ca<\/a> for more information.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Teaching Assistant (TA) for FNH 480: Dietetic Professional Practice III One teaching assistant is needed\u00a0from\u00a0January to April 2021.
