{"id":6985,"date":"2021-02-25T12:20:19","date_gmt":"2021-02-25T19:20:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/lfsgrads\/?p=6985"},"modified":"2021-02-25T12:20:19","modified_gmt":"2021-02-25T19:20:19","slug":"may-2021-graduation-deadlines","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/lfsgrads\/post-6985","title":{"rendered":"May 2021 Graduation Deadlines"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Can you please remind all Graduate Students that are hoping to have their degree granted in May that the application for graduation will be available on the Student Service Centre until <strong><u>Friday, February 26, 2021.<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A late application form for graduation will be available on our website early next week for students that have missed the Student Service Centre deadline.\u00a0 Please note that this form is for Graduate Students only.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.grad.ubc.ca\/forms\">https:\/\/www.grad.ubc.ca\/forms<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Please advise students that are hoping to graduate in May 2021, that it is very important that they apply for graduation as soon as possible, and should not wait until they submit their final thesis to G+PS or complete the program requirements for non-thesis programs. There are no negative consequences to applying and there is no fee.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Friday, February 26, 2021<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Last day for graduation applications to be submitted to Enrolment Services using the Student Service Centre by all students expecting to graduate in May 2021.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Friday, April 23, 2021<\/u><\/strong><u><br \/>\n<\/u><br \/>\nLast day for late applications for graduation to be submitted to Enrolment Services by all students expecting to graduate in May 2021.<\/p>\n<p>Last day for final master&#8217;s theses and doctoral dissertations to be approved by the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies for May 2021 degree granting and Congregation.
