IFT\u2019s Education, Extension and Outreach Division (EEOD) is seeking new members to join it\u2019s leadership team, especially students and early-career professionals. This is a <\/span>fantastic opportunity for those who are or who may be interested in pursuing a career in academia<\/span><\/i><\/b> as an instructor or faculty member with teaching or extension responsibilities. <\/span><\/p>\n

The EEOD strives to provide food science students and educators with helpful teaching and mentoring resources, inspiration for enhancing student learning in their classrooms, and a space to connect and learn from one another.<\/span><\/p>\n

Leadership member activities include:<\/span><\/u><\/p>\n

o<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>IFT First EEOD session planning<\/span><\/p>\n

o<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>Fall and spring seminar\/workshop planning<\/span><\/p>\n

o<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>Student support – mentorship, workshops, competitions<\/span><\/p>\n

o<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>Quarterly newsletter planning<\/span><\/p>\n

o<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>Grant application support<\/span><\/p>\n

o<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>Fundraising<\/span><\/p>\n
