This is a flexible deadline, and there is still time for students to submit those forms. If students have not yet submitted the form, they <strong><u>should do before Sept 6<\/u><\/strong>, to reduce the likelihood of a delay in the invitation process.<\/p>\n<p>As a reminder, the other dates candidates need to meet are as follows:<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>FRIDAY, 14 OCTOBER\u00a02022<\/u><\/strong> \u2013 Doctoral dissertation (and supporting documentation) submitted to Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies for external examination<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>WEDNESDAY, 14 DECEMBER, 2022<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Last Day for Final Doctoral Oral Examination<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>FRIDAY, 6 JANUARY, 2023<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Acceptance of final, approved doctoral dissertation by Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies<\/p>\n<p>Students will be able to choose to defend either in person or on Zoom. We will work with students to select the most appropriate mode for their defence. (Please note that the exam rooms in Thea Koerner House will not be available until late October\u00a0due to ongoing work on the roof.)<\/p>\n<p>There is an <strong>information session<\/strong> for students about the <strong>Doctoral Exam process<\/strong> organized by Graduate Pathways to Success on September 7\u00a0at 2pm.
