CHANGE TO GRADUATION APPLICATION FOR November 2022<\/strong><\/p>\n

We have a change to this year\u2019s online application deadline for graduation in November 2022.\u00a0 That is the date your student can apply in the SSC for graduation.<\/p>\n

The online application<\/strong> will be open until Friday October 21, 2022<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

PLEASE NOTE<\/strong> – This is only for students who are in G+PS administered programs<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Previously we would put up a paper application on our website when the online application closed.\u00a0 We won\u2019t be doing that this year as the online application has been extended for us.\u00a0 A student must apply to be eligible for graduation.<\/p>\n

OTHER DEADLINES TO KNOW CONCERNING GRADUATION<\/strong><\/p>\n

Friday October 21, 2022<\/strong><\/p>\n

Online Application<\/strong> \u2013 as mentioned above last day to apply to graduate for November 2022.<\/p>\n

Thesis Submission<\/strong> \u2013 last day for G+PS approval of final master\u2019s theses and doctoral dissertations for November graduation.<\/p>\n

Degree Completion Memo<\/strong> \u2013 Latest date the program can place on the DCM for the student to be eligible for November 2022 graduation.<\/p>\n

Friday November 4, 2022<\/strong><\/p>\n

Last Day! \u2013 this is your final day to submit any missing requirements to G+PS.\u00a0 The lists have to be finalized by 4pm on that day.<\/p>\n

Wednesday November 16, 2022<\/strong><\/p>\n

Senate \u2013 meets and confers the degrees for our students.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Wed November 23 to Friday November 25, 2022<\/strong><\/p>\n

Congregation \u2013 UBC graduation ceremonies happen during this time frame.<\/p>\n

We will be having a graduation training session for GPO\u2019s closer to the deadlines with details to follow.<\/p>\n

ADDITIONAL NOTE<\/strong><\/p>\n

UBC is hosting additional on-campus graduation ceremonies from Monday November 14 to Tuesday November 22, 2022 for those students who graduated in 2020 \/ 2021.\u00a0 Graduation during the pandemic years was held online exclusively, so this is a chance for those folks to celebrate on-campus with their families.\u00a0 If you need further information about these ceremonies please contact Enrolment Services or the Ceremonies team.<\/p>\n
