{"id":8868,"date":"2022-11-10T16:16:02","date_gmt":"2022-11-10T23:16:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/lfsgrads\/?p=8868"},"modified":"2022-11-10T16:16:02","modified_gmt":"2022-11-10T23:16:02","slug":"update-regarding-transcript-requirements-for-cgsm-and-affiliated-fellowships-masters-applications","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/lfsgrads\/post-8868","title":{"rendered":"Update regarding transcript requirements for CGSM and Affiliated Fellowships-Master&#8217;s applications"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Update regarding transcript requirements for CGSM and Affiliated Fellowships-Master&#8217;s &#8211; unofficial transcripts are acceptable<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please note that official transcripts are now <strong>preferred, but not required<\/strong>, for CGSM and Affiliated Fellowships-Master&#8217;s applications.<\/p>\n<p>CIHR, NSERC and SSHRC have indicated that, due to COVID-19,\u00a0<strong>unofficial transcripts will be accepted<\/strong>\u00a0in cases where CGSM applicants were not able to obtain an official transcript in time for the deadline.\u00a0 If an applicant is providing an unofficial transcript, it must still be authentic, complete and up to date.<\/p>\n<p>As the\u00a0Affiliated Fellowships-Master&#8217;s application is closely modelled after the CGSM award application, unofficial transcripts are now also permitted for the Affiliated application.<\/p>\n<p>The UBC <strong><u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.grad.ubc.ca\/awards\/canada-graduate-scholarships-masters-cgs-m-program\">CGSM<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.grad.ubc.ca\/awards\/affiliated-fellowships-masters-program\">Affiliated Fellowships-Master&#8217;s<\/a><\/u><\/strong> webpages have been updated to reflect this new information.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Update regarding transcript requirements for CGSM and Affiliated Fellowships-Master&#8217;s &#8211; unofficial transcripts are acceptable Please note that official transcripts are now preferred, but not required, for CGSM and Affiliated Fellowships-Master&#8217;s applications.
