This <strong><u>deadline is set nationally and is not flexible<\/u><\/strong>; UBC has no administrative authority\/means to extend the deadline for applicants.<\/p>\n<p>The same deadline applies to the <strong><u>Affiliated Fellowships<\/u><\/strong> applicants: before\u00a05:00 pm PT on <strong>1 December 2022<\/strong><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong>Detailed Affiliated Fellowships-Master competition information with links to application and reference forms is\u00a0available at:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.grad.ubc.ca\/awards\/affiliated-fellowships-masters-program\"><strong>https:\/\/www.grad.ubc.ca\/awards\/affiliated-fellowships-masters-program<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>CGSM application materials cannot be revised after the deadline<\/strong>.\u00a0Applicants are strongly encouraged to follow the application instructions and presentation standards when preparing their application.<br \/>\nDetails about this award opportunity, including eligibility and evaluation criteria, are available at<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nserc-crsng.gc.ca\/Students-Etudiants\/PG-CS\/CGSM-BESCM_eng.asp\">http:\/\/www.nserc-crsng.gc.ca\/Students-Etudiants\/PG-CS\/CGSM-BESCM_eng.asp<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and UBC website: <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.grad.ubc.ca\/awards\/canada-graduate-scholarships-masters-cgs-m-program\">https:\/\/www.grad.ubc.ca\/awards\/canada-graduate-scholarships-masters-cgs-m-program<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Important reminders regarding transcripts:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies does not provide transcripts for award\/scholarship applications.<\/li>\n<li>It is the applicant\u2019s responsibility to submit up-to-date transcripts of all undergraduate and graduate studies via the Research Portal before the deadline. An application will be deemed ineligible if it does not include the up-to-date transcripts required for determining grade point average (academic standing) in each of the last two completed years of study (full-time equivalent).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Transcripts cannot be updated or submitted separately after the deadline.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Important reminders regarding reference assessment forms:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Referees (faculty members) are strongly encouraged to complete their assessments and submit them via the Research Portal well in advance of the December 1 deadline (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nserc-crsng.gc.ca\/Students-Etudiants\/Videos-Videos\/cgsm-besc_eng.asp\">instructions<\/a>).<\/li>\n<li>Applicants cannot submit their CGSM application until the two reference assessment forms have been completed and submitted in the Research Portal.
