Financial Literacy for Youth (FLY) Club – recruiting 1-2 volunteers

Want to upgrade your financial literacy? Financial Literacy for Youth (FLY at UBC) is an AMS club that believes literacy isn’t adequately taught in either high school or at UBC. Their goal is to raise awareness about financial literacy to all university students and that financial literacy applies to everyone no matter what faculty they are in and what career they are pursuing!

They are looking to recruit 1-2 Faculty Representatives from LFS to raise awareness about financial literacy within this faculty. Faculty Reps will

  • gain experience in the Marketing Department
  • develop teamwork skills
  • network with people from all different faculties

They also have the opportunity to expand their own personal financial knowledge with their complimentary admission to all our events! Tentative deadline for Faculty Rep applications is September 26th, 2013. Please visit their website or check out the FLY for UBC poster for more details on this position.
