The Centre for Student Involvement and Careers is hosting a career fair today, Wednesday October 1 in the Student Union Building – 2nd floor, from 10am to 3 pm. This career fair will feature 70 private and public sector employers from a wide range of industries. This will provide a venue for students, and employers to connect, share information and explore opportunities for employment.
Students from all disciplines and year levels are encouraged to attend and take advantage of the opportunity to:
- Practice networking skills and gain confidence in speaking with employers
- Ask employment and career related questions to experienced and working professionals in their field of interest
- Discover vital information regarding qualifications, career paths and employment and internship opportunities
To help students get the most out of Career Days, we will be offering a variety of on-site workshops and services including:
- Drop in resume reviews
- LinkedIn profile reviews and professional LinkedIn photos
- Job search workshops
