Perspectives on Solidarity – A Symposium on International Development – Oct 18, 2014

Perspectives on Solidarity provides the UBC and wider Vancouver community the opportunity to come together to engage in dialogue and to critically explore what it means to learn, act and be in solidarity with others in international development activities.

The Centre for Community Engaged Learning, in partnership with Amnesty International, Oxfam, the British Columbia Council for International Cooperation and the Sauder School of Business are pleased to present this 3rd annual day-long symposium.  Please join us in a discussion to unpack the notion of solidarity, its role in international development, and its various interpretations by faculty, practitioners, and students.
