BC SPCA Wild ARC Summer Practicum Program, deadline March 1

BC SPCA Wild Animal Rehabilitation Center (ARC) Summer Practicum Program is now accepting applications for 2015. The BC SPCA Wild ARC just outside of Victoria, BC is currently recruiting for its Summer Practicum Program. These two-month voluntary positions allow practicum participants to gain hands-on experience with Vancouver Island’s diverse wildlife species including fawns, raccoons, squirrels, songbirds and raptors.

This position is a valuable learning opportunity for anyone pursuing a career in veterinary medicine, technology, environmental, natural resource, or animal welfare studies. Practicums can be completed as part of an educational requirement, or to receive a Practicum Certificate through the International Wildlife Rehabilitation Council.
