The Canadian Home Economics Foundation offers awards in a writing competition open to third and fourth year undergraduate students from Faculties of Home Economics, Family and Consumer Studies, Human Ecology, Foods and Nutrition, and Education, and for those in graduate studies in the same programs.
Prizes will be given for the best original papers, in English or French, of a maximum of 3,000 words, reviewing recent research or new developments in one of the areas within home economics and related programs. The paper may be an adaptation of a seminar report or term paper and must follow the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, 6 th edition (2009). The winning papers may be published in one of several professional journals, at the discretion of the editors.
