The Faculty of Land and Food Systems Undergraduate Society (LFS|US) would like to invite members of the LFS community to identify students for their annual LFS Undergraduate Student Leadership Award. This award is intended to recognize outstanding student leadership and commitment to the Faculty of Land and Food Systems by an undergraduate student.
Please help us identify talented student leaders! Students can be nominated by faculty, staff or their peers. We would appreciate nominations of student leaders who:
- Have made significant contributions to the Faculty of Land and Food Systems through their involvement in Faculty-based activities;
- Have made an impact on their current peers and have left a legacy that will benefit future LFS students; and
- Have demonstrated outstanding leadership (such as service to an LFS-affiliated program or organization, service within the classroom by supporting peers, contributions to a community engaged learning project, etc.) within the Faculty throughout their undergraduate degree.
If you know an LFS student who is deserving of this recognition, please nominate them using this online form. You will be asked for information including: student’s full name, e-mail address, student number (if available) and a description of the student’s involvements and contributions. The deadline for nomination submissions is Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at 11:59 PM.
Thank you in advance for your help in ensuring that we are able to identify truly outstanding students. Please contact Jin Low (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you have any questions, and please feel free to forward this message to any LFS colleagues and students you may know who have had the opportunity to work with outstanding student leaders.
