Help!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hi 2nd Year Standing students &#8211; some of you may be receiving warnings that you won&#8217;t be able to register unless you declare a specialization. This would normally be done through the SSC (Student Service Centre) but in the few days before your registration opens, this function is not available.<\/p>\n<p>We recommend waiting until your registration opens and then trying again. You should be able to declare your specialization then: log\u00a0on to your <a href=\"http:\/\/www.students.ubc.ca\/ssc\">SSC<\/a> under \u201cRegistration\u201d &#8211;&gt; \u201cSpecialization list\u201d &#8211;&gt; search by degree!<\/p>\n<p>If you are still undecided about a major, you should be able to select &#8220;Unknown&#8221; for now.
