Your English? Your Arabic? Your Mandarin? The Tandem UBC Language Exchange Program pairs you with someone at UBC who speaks this language and who wants to improve in a language that you speak.\u00a0The registration deadline is\u00a0<strong>Thursday Midnight, January 16th, 2014<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>No teaching experience required &#8211;\u00a0just enthusiasm! Activities and support are provided by a facilitator.\u00a0The program will run from <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">January 20 to April 4, 2014<\/span>. Partners meet every week for a total of 10 weeks. You spend half of each meeting in each language \u2013 the one you\u2019re learning and the one you\u2019re teaching.\u00a0\u00a0In other words, you help each other.\u00a0\u00a0This is a fully student-run program, and it\u2019s\u00a0free!
