{"id":3681,"date":"2014-02-04T10:03:55","date_gmt":"2014-02-04T17:03:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/lfsundergrads\/?p=3681"},"modified":"2014-02-04T10:04:06","modified_gmt":"2014-02-04T17:04:06","slug":"meet-your-maker-2014-volunteers-needed-feb-17-2014","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/lfsundergrads\/2014\/02\/04\/meet-your-maker-2014-volunteers-needed-feb-17-2014\/","title":{"rendered":"Meet your Maker 2014, volunteers needed &#8211; Feb 17, 2014"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">FarmFolk CityFolk and the Vancouver Farmer&#8217;s Markets are presenting their 6th annual MEET YOUR MAKER event: Where small-scale food producers and buyers meet and grow their business!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Monday February 17, 2014<\/strong> &#8211; 9:30am &#8211; 3pm<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">Ukrainian Cultural Centre<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">3150 Ash Street, Vancouver BC<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Volunteers would be required to start at <strong>7am and able to leave at approx. 4pm<\/strong> (or earlier). <strong>12-15 volunteers are needed!<\/strong> Tasks include:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">helping set up tables\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">staffing registration table<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">food receivers<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">setting up coffee, tea, water areas<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">staffing coffee, tea, water areas<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Long Bar supervisor (oversee food prep)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Lunch supervisor (oversee lunch service activities)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Long Bar staff (prepare lunch)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">serving staff (buffet line)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">clean up<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Available and want to help out?
