Build on your experience working with the community and get creative with what you can do to address community needs.<\/p>\n<p>Advisors and staff are also on hand to help refine and guide you in developing your proposal.\u00a0The Connect to Community grant projects can take place over 2 weeks or up to 2 months.\u00a0$500 to\u00a0 $1,500 can be awarded to projects.\u00a0More information can be found <a href=\"http:\/\/students.ubc.ca\/career\/community-experiences\/grants\/connect-community\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>How to apply<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.surveyfeedback.ca\/surveys\/wsb.dll\/s\/1g39c6\">Apply online\u00a0\u00bb<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Your application should include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Information about applicant(s)<\/li>\n<li>Information about community partner and main contact<\/li>\n<li>A request for a brief description of the project and the resources needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Connect to Community grant funds small projects up to $1,500\u00a0that take place over a 2 week to 2\u00a0month period.
