{"id":4893,"date":"2015-03-04T10:48:27","date_gmt":"2015-03-04T17:48:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/lfsundergrads\/?p=4893"},"modified":"2015-03-04T10:48:27","modified_gmt":"2015-03-04T17:48:27","slug":"reacch-pna-internship-undergraduate-opportunity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/lfsundergrads\/2015\/03\/04\/reacch-pna-internship-undergraduate-opportunity\/","title":{"rendered":"REACCH PNA Internship Undergraduate Opportunity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>REACCH PNA Internships are now open to US and Non-US Citizens!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Regional Approaches to Climate Change- Pacific Northwest Agriculture<br \/>\n(REACCH PNA) is a USDA-funded, multi-institutional project focused on<br \/>\nimproving the long-term sustainability of agriculture within the<br \/>\nregion. \u00a0REACCH partners (University of Idaho, Washington State<br \/>\nUniversity, Oregon State University and USDA-ARS) are teaming up to<br \/>\noffer a total of 11, 9-week long, undergraduate internships across the<br \/>\nthree institutions.<\/p>\n<p>Summer interns will participate in faculty and\/or graduate student<br \/>\nresearch, weekly seminars, and field trips. \u00a0Interns will receive a<br \/>\nsalary of $500 per week for the summer internship and a travel budget<br \/>\nup to $500. \u00a0\u00a0Summer interns will also be provided with University<br \/>\nhousing, identification cards, access to library, email and internet<br \/>\nprivileges.<\/p>\n<p>Summaries of the available research projects for summer 2015 are<br \/>\nprovided here.
