RSVP required"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Lenses of Sustainability is a campus-wide, student-led dialogue series designed to bring students, faculty, staff, and community together to re-imagine sustainability, gain wider perspectives on pressing issues, and discuss opportunities to make an impact towards a more sustainable future.<\/p>\n<p>This dialogue series aims to foster a sense of community at UBC by bringing together a diverse audience, creating a space for cross-faculty conversations and interdisciplinary collaboration, and creating a shared understanding of pressing societal issues.<\/p>\n<p>Join us for complimentary tea-tasting, story-telling, interactive discussions, and a delicious catered dinner.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lenses of Sustainability: Local Food Guest Speakers<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Carrie James, Graduate Student, ISLFS; UBC SEEDS Program<\/li>\n<li>Rickey Yada, Dean of Faculty of Land and Food Systems, UBC<\/li>\n<li>Lloyd Bernhardt, CEO, Ethical Bean Coffee<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Date<\/strong>\u00a0October 7th, 2015 |\u00a05-7:30pm<\/p>\n<p><strong>Location<\/strong>\u00a0BC Hydro Theatre, Centre for Interactive Research on Sustainability, 2260 West Mall.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/ubc.us3.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=820ba5406ce97ad5bc671f983&amp;id=370280ec1a&amp;e=d764435808\">Registration<\/a>\u00a0is required, space is limited to 60 participants.
