UBC students returning from their summer international service learning (ISL) placements will share their experiences, learning, and lingering questions at a post-engagement symposium. This year\u2019s symposium- \u201cDoing Development Differently<\/strong>: Engaging Young Adults in an Interconnected Global Community”- centres on student presentations and concludes with a public lecture by Stephen Lewis<\/strong>, who is known as one of Canada\u2019s most influential pundits on international development and human rights.<\/p>\n When: October 17th, 2015 at 9:30am – 4:15pm<\/p>\n Location: VCC Downtown campus, 250 West Pender Street, Vancouver, B.C.
