Through your support,\u00a0the team\u00a0will have the opportunity to compete against other schools across North America. This is an exciting way for the team to further\u00a0their understanding of complex animal welfare issues, improve critical thinking and public speaking skills, and get to meet others interested in the field.\u00a0To make the trip to Ohio possible,\u00a0$3000 dollars will need to be raised. Any donations will be greatly appreciated and the team would love to discuss their interests in animal welfare to anyone with interest or questions. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Times New Roman;\">UBC placed 2nd at the competition in 2015, and won the live dairy assessment.
