The $5,000 scholarship award for the 2017-2018 academic years is awarded to an undergraduate student (Sophomore or above) who has demonstrated an interest in food science (confectionery preferred) and meets the criteria listed in the attached pamphlet <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/lfsundergrads\/files\/2016\/12\/2017-AACT-Kitt-Mem.-Scholarship-Pamphlet-Application.pdf\">here<\/a>\u00a0or at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aactcandy.org\/\">www.aactcandy.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The AACT is seeking to bring candy technology careers to the attention of the brightest food science department students as they complete their college studies and consider career planning.<\/p>\n<p>The AACT is proud to offer this outstanding opportunity to showcase the rewarding opportunities available in confectionary manufacturing career fields.<\/p>\n<p>Application deadline: <strong>April 4, 2017<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please find the application pamphlet\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/lfsundergrads\/files\/2016\/12\/2017-AACT-Kitt-Mem.-Scholarship-Pamphlet-Application.pdf\">here<\/a>.
